Joe does a much better job than Martin.

Here's typical transcripts from Martins Commentary

Martin: OH! Mike Poeta! Goes on the th...NIIICE WOOOOO!! Here comes Gregor! What a...OH NICE DOUBLE FROM POETA!! THAT WAS SICK! Out of Bouuunnnds!
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Best impersonation! Only if we had the sound to go with it.

A favorite moment from JB's worlds broadcast: about 30 seconds of dead air, followed by "in case you wondering, I'm not saying anything because these wrestlers aren't doing anything."

Wow, a thread about me that I haven't commented on? I must not be doing my daily google search to see what people are saying about me.

I guess why people hate me on said website is mainly because a few years ago, I was very vocal in my discontent with some issues their fearless leader had with my former company, the NWCA, and how said individual treated people. I wrote a blog two years ago about the entire situation and the history -- so that apparently means no one has changed anything and we still hate each other. I guess they don't realize people adapt and time heals wounds.

People, the vocal minority of idiots with the ability to speak, took my comments as shots at the site itself, rather than the people who were at the root of the issue. They still believe there is some animosity brewing, when in actuality, the relationship between myself, my organization (USAW) and Flowrestling has been relatively painless in the last year or so.

I bet those people who say I hate Flo so much have no idea that Joe Flo sat in my house working with Greg Warren and myself on Living The Dream Telethon stuff for nearly 8 hours just over a month ago. Basically, cooler heads prevailed, but you know how people are. They are hateful, ruthless, gutless and cowardly. The people who commented with the nastiest comments that have ever been directed at me have no say in wrestling -- they won't man up and talk the talk. They hide places they don't have to sign in and hide where they can't be discovered. It's pitiful really.

People think the issues that were apparent two years ago are still there. I guess no one realizes that while some people will still take shots at USAW, others would rather work together -- this includes myself.

People assume nothing changed. Well, a lot has changed. But that vocal minority of idiots would rather you think I'm some jealous angry prick sitting on boards trashing people.

As far as the message board comments, they're so off base, it's funny. Again, cowardly, gutless people who have no idea what they're talking about taking refuge in a world they created with cowardly gutless discussion.

For the record ... I've been employed at USA Wrestling for about 11 months. In that time, I've banned 12 usernames (11 different people). I wasn't "deleting threads regularly," rather I was ridding the forum of the troll element. Once the forum changed over to php boards, it was much easier to identify who was causing the ruckus.

Recently, people say there's been censorship and that's "why nothing gets posted there." That's another falsehood. When people used our boards to attack our organization -- I took action. Not because I didn't like what was said ... but because it was false, libelous and extremely negative. Criticism is one thing, but I won't tolerate outright lies -- or using one organization's website to trash that org. and push another, with the only intention to trash the host org. Sorry folks, lie about us on other sites, we won't have it on ours. They just don't want to come to TheMat.com to post their venom. They claim censorship, but how can you censor something that isn't posted?

I've let more discussion go on than ever (within reason). People don't like the fact that I have at times, told people the truth and told people what they didn't want to hear. Again, this isn't two years ago. Things have changed, relationships are much better than they were. There's relationships and bonds there that were only burned before.

People are going to believe what they're going to believe. They take joy in hate. I find this troublesome. Of course it affects me personally when people say such nasty and hateful things ... because I wonder who they are. But at the same time, I don't care who they are, because they lose all ability to make a difference when they say such nasty things.

I'm sure someone might read this and say, "Oh you're full of crap, you trashed this person, you attacked that person, blah blah blah." -- Guess what, I've never attacked anyone first. I guess when you take years of abuse, then speak out, things stay the same, right?

There are people who blindly follow Flo to the point of hatred, and to me, that's pretty sad. Because if I can stand and talk with Martin (August) without issues, have Joe Flo at my house and work together on future initiatives, there isn't an issue.

I've been completely approachable, personable and as far as I can tell, friendly, to anyone I run into. The things being said about me ... oh darn. Guess what, I've worked too hard and given back too much to the sport of wrestling to be some flash in the pan. I started writing and covering wrestling in 1995 ... I didn't just show up one day. My critics will have to just deal with the fact I'll be around until I die. Painful for them to realize that they could possibly envision a day where they're forced to listen to me -- or use the mute button.

I realize I'm kinda running in circles with some of this -- but people want to live in the past will never be willing to accept change and things moving forward. If you'd have told me two years ago that Flo would be sitting my house, talking to my wife and working together, I'd have said you were crazy. A lot happened since my criticisms of Flo were first aired. Both sides grew up ... and not to mention, I got married. I mean, I hadn't as much as met my future wife at the time Flo and I were at each other's throats.

People just assume that criticism means hate ... that was never the case. I never attacked the "site" as itself. I think everyone that's ever read my rants knows that I've always said it was a great wrestling resource. The personalities involved don't think the same way anymore.

So that's kind the history of why people love to hate me so much -- and if they do, that's fine. They can just not come to TheMat.com and miss out on the amount of news we give the wrestling public. They can avoid the forum and miss out on the discussion that's been slowly rebuilding with quality topics and posters. They can not read stories and miss out on something sorely missing in our sport -- the written word.

Spider - I am guessing you are trying to remember the name Craig Sesker. He used to delete things that were germane to topics and mostly innocuous for no apparent reason. When JB has deleted items it seems like he explains why and follows a coherent set of rules.
Those of you who think you know it all really annoy those of us who actually do ;)

Yes! Thank you! As I recall he was mainly responsible for the mass exodus, not JB. I guess we should thank him because his abuses gave rise to this website.
