    Default Cubs

Even though I live in So. California, I'm not a Dodger fan nor do I want to disrespect Cubbie fans, but the Cubs stink and seem doomed for another season.....

    It sucks.
Last night I got out of class about 9:45 and I listened to the debate commentary on NPR and the Cubs game on WGN on the way home. When I got home I asked my husband if they watched the debate and he said that they watched a little of it, but it was annoying. I asked if the Cubs game was over and he said "It might as well be". He and the boys were watching the Encore Western channel. More than a little escapism goin' on at my house last night.

I forgot to tell you guys that with the Mets out, I'm rooting for the Cubs and Brewers. So, to all you Cub and Brewer fans out there ... I apologize. There's always next year.

On a side note, how good is Manny Ramirez now that he actually tries?

You mean now that he's playing in Quadruple A?
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

That is the reason, clearly. I mean, has anyone ever even heard of that Zambrano guy he took deep last night?

I feel bad for a few of the bar owners on clark st who were expecting big time money this year. Although I'm sure the area will profit next year off of all the new "this is our year" and other curse related gimmicks.

I don't want to start counting pre-hatched chickens, but things are looking pretty good for the Dodgers and correspondingly glum for the Cubs. (Third inning)
