Can you say ego maniac?
If he draws it out this long, has an hour long special just to take a dump on the city of Cleveland, it will be one of the most classless things I've seen.
If he stays it won't be as bad but to do that to the city that has supported and loved him is pretty messed up.
If he goes to Miami as rumored, it will be very strange to see how they make that work. They will have basically the big 3, mario chalmers and like 10 minimum pay players.
Go Hawkeyes.
I don't personally care. And I don't care about "the fans that have supported him and loved him." They supported him and loved him because he won. If he had lost constantly, he wouldn't have received the same treatment. So he won for them, they loved him. It was a symbiotic relationship. Not to mention that sports players historically are loved, and then discarded, as soon as they stop being useful. So let him rake in as much attention and money as he can while he can.
Also, the answer will be coming in the first 10 minutes, and then the rest of the special will be dedicated to an interview explaining why he's going wherever he goes. I just don't think it's as big of a deal as people are making ito ut to be. I know I'll be watching, and so will most of you, so that speaks to his ability to draw that crowd. Just because no other player could command the audience to do this, LeBron shouldn't be able to?
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
One, two, Evans is coming for you...
I thought the whole idea was pretty pompous myself, until I learned that it was sponsored. It probably wasn't even his idea. Some tv exec came up with it, sold some commercial time and guaranteed him some money. Although he doesn't need the money, it would probably be hard to pass up.
I think it's pretty dumb to announce it on a TV show. It's like he's always regretted having the college commitment party where he puts the hat on his head, and this is his way of doing that.
Then again, like someone else said, it might not have been his idea.
