I am not from Cleveland. I am in Mansfield. Smack dab in the middle of Cleveland and Columbus. However, I lean heavily toward Cbus.

Well it won't be the Knicks, they just signed Stodemire for 5 years $100 mil.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

They signed Stoudemire only to lure LeBron. Simply a recruiting tool.

I think he's going to NY with the news of Bosh and Wade teaming up. I don't think he wants to share THAT MUCH spotlight. With the Knicks, he's have a superstar helping him, but he'd clearly be the man, while the Heat will always be DWade's team. Cleveland hasn't been able to provide any support, and their owner is a meddling loser, although the Knicks owner isn't much better, if at all. Also, the Knicks will have a strong amount of money to go after Carmelo Anthony.

Amare Stoudemire? Dudes the biggest phony in the NBA.

He's so 2nd tier it's not even funny. Ask any credible NBA person.

What Amare can do: Dunk, be flashy, make sportscenter, knock down a jumper, talk smack.

What Amare can't do(All things that win in playoffs): Rebound, play d, be mature.

If Lebron goes to NYC I will laugh very hard because he just went from one lottery team to another with a coach who thinks you don't need to play defense to win a championship with Amare Stoudemire who was just as much a product of playing with Steve Nash as anything.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Couldn't disagree more. Amare isn't a number 1, of course, but neither is Bosh. Amare can do everything Bosh can do, with more athleticism. However, I will say I'm not a fan of the Amare signing UNLESS the Knicks also sign LeBron. Amare is a great finisher when he gets a good delivery, such as from Nash. LeBron is very capable of providing that.

People compare LeBron to MJ all the time, but I see him more as a hybrid of Magic Johnson and Scottie Pippen. He's not as good a defender as Scottie, but he's very good, and he's more athletic than Scottie. Scottie often ran the de facto point for the Bulls, and LeBron can do that, only better. He passes much the same way and with the same creativity of Magic Johnson.

So, as a Knicks fan, I'm warily optimistic about the signing of Amare, but prepared to go to one extreme or the other in a moment. Also, there are a lot of heavy rumors that Carmelo Anthony REALLY wants to play for the Knicks, which I would love as he's my favorite player in the league. Not the best, that's LeBron IMO, but my favorite.

BIG news on the LBJ front that has nothing to do with where he's playing next year:

the MVP will say where he's playing next season and beyond at 9 p.m. on a program called "The Decision."
