Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

A mere formality since Nebraska has been talking to the Big Ten since last winter. At that time the B10 guaranteed them $20 million in TV revenue. They barely eeked out $9,000,000 with B12.

Big 10 is now twelve and sufficient size to host a conference championship game.

The Mountain West has extended invitations to join to Fresno State and Nevada (UNLV). That leaves the Western Athletic Conf with only 6 teams, but possibly 7.

BYU has announced they may leave the Mountain West to join the Western Athletic Conf (WAC) in all sports except football. They may take football independent. Basically, that's a "me too me too" signal to the PAC 12.

The latest news here in C-bus surrounds the possibility of Ohio State and Michigan being in opposite divisions in the bigten. For some reason, the powers that be think that it would be a better thing to have them play earlier in the season and be in opposite divisions. Their logic is that Ohio State and Michigan could then meet in the conference championship game. I personally like the way the SEC did things when they kept the Iron Bowl as the last game of the regular season and put Auburn and Alabama in the same division. There are certain games that should be the last regular season game for each team. Ohio State and Michigan, Alabama and Auburn, Texas and Texas A&M, Army and Navy, USC and UCLA, Kansas and Mizzou, and I think the Big East should make WVU and Pitt the last game each year for those teams as well.

Two tsunamis popped up, one in Columbus, the other in Ann Arbor.

Both fan bases vociferously oppose moving the date of the rivalry.
