Very pleasantly surprised to see Diego Forlan win the Golden Ball Award for most Outstanding Player in the tournament. He did absolutely everything for Uruguay. Sneijder and Villa were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Thomas Mueller wins the Golden Boot in a tie breaker. His three assists gave him the edge over Villa, Sneijder, and Forlan all of whom had one apiece. He also kept the Best Young Player award in Germany for another four years.
Casillas won Best Goalkeeper.
