Hundreds sick after UCLA loss

More than 800 people got sick watching UCLA play Fresno at the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
The majority of the illnesses were heat-related, according to the Pasadena Fire Department. The Bruins lost to the Fresno State Bulldogs, 36-31. At least 13 people were hospitalized, although none of the incidents are thought to be life-threatening.
Officials say it was the largest medical response ever at the Rose Bowl. In fact, paramedics from Los Angeles and Glendale were called in to assist in the response.
Most of the illnesses were reported about 1p.m. Four shuttle buses were used as cooling stations, which helped many of those who were ill avoid a trip to the hospital
Funny, I would have thought nausea would have been the chief medical problem after that game.
