Yes, this is it. You won't forget it anytime soon. Yet, and as you notice from that short clip, there's very little dialogue in it.

I don't think the film showed an abandonment of family values.

I thought the film showed what happens when because of poor city planning you give kids nothing positive to do.

That small rec center was the only place for kids to go.

Bored kids with too much time on their hands & with little to no adult supervision = trouble.

Most of the parents had "family values". The parents ignored their kids until it was too late.

Not to this extreme, but this is a common problem all over the USA.

I have not been able to find Cloud Dancer on DVD yet. I haven't seen that show in years.

that's prettuy much where i was heading , 2 parents working and being moved to the middle of nowhere where the kids just pretty much did as they pleased -the parents didn't want things to happen the way they did but no time to intervene and be a parent-the family as a total unit was gone .

Yes, parents not knowing what their kids are doing or caring what their kids are doing seems to be a real pervasive cultural problem.

I am hoping more people would add to the list of lessor known films.

I thought of a few more good ones-

    The Wanderers (1979)

    American Hot Wax (1978)

    My Bodyguard (1980)

    Galaxina (1980)

Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988)

    Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974)

    Silent Movie (1976)

Dark City another good one for Sci Fi
A lot of younger folks have likely never seen the original Walking Tall Series, well worth watching.
