Is that true? Breezy = Buzzed? It's such a cool term. I'd hate to change it, but I don't want everyone to think I go through every day buzzed.

    Mike- thanks for the compliment.
He made sweet mead. It was great. Give it a try.

Bonnie - my memory of Chicago is that every ethnic group in the world is represented - with its own neighborhood and shopping area. Try to find Krupnikas, a Lithuanian liquor. Every spice you can think of macerated in vodka (or, preferably, straight-grain alcohol).
I make my own: smooth as silk with the kick of a Missouri Mule. If anyone is interested, I can post the recipe.

The big difference between sweet mead and what I normally make is that you add honey each time the mead is racked (siphoned off to remove the sediment). This adds 3 to 6 pounds of honey to the wort during the brewing process. I will be making mead next weekend - maybe I will give a sweet mead a try this time.
