You are exactly right. I mean how many times does their QB get sacked a game. Last time he said he got sacked like 3 times in a game. Even though he is a good QB, he gets sacked 24/7. Last year he got sacked like 100 times. At least 10 times a game.

He , as i type , is on the sideline wondering if he should retire while still healthy -7-8 sacks , I believe.

I don't know if I'd quite go this far...

The way the personnel on that line has degenerated though since Roethlisberger's first two years has just been alarming.

They went from having one of the best LT->C in football in Smith, Faneca, and Hartings, and then having two generally competent run blockers on the right side in Simmons/Keydrick Vincent at guard, and Oliver Ross/Max Starks at tackle.

Now they have Smith who hasn't gotten any younger, and Simmons who while still a decent run blocker has lost just about any semblance of pass blocking skills that he might have had.

Yes, the o-line sucked, but I think they got out coached as well.

When one or more defenders is completely unblocked and has a straight shot at the QB, the offense is getting out smarted.

I kept waiting for them to adjust, but it never happened.

I hate to be pessimistic, but every team the Steelers play is going to do the same thing Philly did, if the are smart.

Ben might end up dead by mid-season.

I have to pat myself on the back....I knew not to start Ben in Fantasy.

    He had -4 points.

Some credit has to go to the Beagles as well. Great performance out there yesterday.
    Lets go Brent!

That was a physical beatdown and a statement game by the Eagles. Last week they got no pressure on Romo and he picked them apart. This week they came after Ben with everything and damn near hit him on every play.
