    17 Sprecher Hefe Weiss
    Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee was once called the Beer Capital of the World, thanks to its prowess in cranking out Pabst, Schlitz, and other monosyllabic canned beers that are now ironic hipster fashion accessories. Sprecher guards a more authentic strain of the city's brewing tradition with its perfectly crafted German-style beers, particularly its Hefe Weiss, which, with its substantial head, hazy body, big whiffs of esters, and muted citrus flavor, could have easily come from the Old Country.

The beast! Back in college one of the guys came up with "beast weekend", to participate, one had to bring 3 cases of warm OMB and couldn't ice it for the weekend and had to consume it warm This past summer I think it celebrated the 10th anniversary of this crazy lake cabin get together that over the years averages 20-30 wrestlers at a time.....not a good mix.

    Warm beast?

    Try this.

Shaffer. $5.99 a CASE from the Tinee Giant. It was never chilled, so we used to pour ice cubes on the top of the funnell and kill it quickly, hoping it would cool it off enough to hit on a beer bong.

    Rough.

Obviously you weren't in with the engineering crowd otherwise you would have saved yourself the trouble and doused it with a CO2 fire extinguisher....ice cold brew in 30 secs.....and no mess.

wrestlers, soccer players and swimmers ... yeah, we don't do engineering.

Rumor around Rutgers is ... if you eat five grease truck sandwiches, they name one after you.

Wrestlers don't do engineering? Not most I guess, there are some nerds out there who do.

Ahh the greasetruck and the original misadventures typed on top of your pimp ride. Good times.

    Homer,
We're talking about ODU here ... think about it.

We had good engineering, but they didn't roll with our drinking team.

SL, I usually like Belgian White beers. I'll need to try that Wisconsin beer you mentioned. One of the beers that is most popular among my friends is actually not sold in Chicago. Bell's Oberon is a seasonal from Michigan, and my Michigander friends are obsessed with it. However, because of a weird distributor contract dispute, it is not sold in Illinois. Whenever my friends go up to Michigan, they buy as much beer as they can and "smuggle" it back.

    I like beer.
