Here is another solution: Always volunteer to do the dishes, but do a terrible job. Put away plates that still have food particles stuck to them.
It may take awhile but you should get out of the dish washing duty.
This also works with laundry. Ruin one load of clothes by mixing whites and colors and lots of bleach and you are off laundry duty forever.
I would recommend hiding all the swords in the house before trying either of these.

This is true. Ironing is my enemy, its weird that one person could be so bad at such a simple task.

I may be a jerk on her, but at home they call my "Super Husband."
