I think it would have been a better solution to set up a specified smoking area on each campus. I agree with the criticism that students shouldn't have to go off camous to smoke, especialy since it is an addiction that is tough to kick.

That is ridiculous! I would love to see all the smokers running from the campus police so they don't get a smoking ticket.

The point is you as the business owner have the right to make the laws in your business. The customer then has the right to either come to your business or not based on those rules you have set forth. You could set a rule that each person much have insurance in order for you to work on them. That is something that could potentially hurt business but you may feel it would be better in the long run. The government should not be the one to step in and tell you that you can or can't do that.

Yes, but I am required to conform to certain safety standards to protect the health of my patients. My autonomy ends there. I consider a smoke filled environment a health risk, and no owner of a public establishment should allow it.

"Smoking" isn't illegal ... cigarettes are some of the most dangerous things ever put on this planet, but still, they're not illegal.

No pot smoking in the dorm. That makes sense, because it's an illegal substance.

violating health codes are agaist the law. Smoking is legal.
