What's the first album you ever bought? The question is, what is the first album you ever bought with your own money? Allowance counts, as long as it was not a gift. Cassettes and cds count, too.
Mine was American Fool by John Cougar. Saved my $1.50 a week allowance and got it. It was the old vinyl big album, too. Just before cassettes got big.

Probably actually bought a few years later since I guess I would only have been 7 at the time.
