Actually, I hate to see a game lost on a mistake like that one especially after his stellar season. How many times can throw for 350 yards and lose by 14 ?

Well the game was hardly lost on that mistake. I think the 31-7 run from the 2nd quarter on had a lot more to do with the final out come than one interception by Payton Manning.

I've been saying for awhile that Saints +5.5 was a sexy bet and that I really felt I'd win..Should have put more money than I did on it but live and learn.

I did & won.

Imagine how many football pool end of game $$$$$$$$$$ changed hands with the Saints going for the 2 point conversion..........and then again when the incomplete call gets reversed by the supervisor in the booth. Don't know about you, but that guy in the booth cost me the end of game bundle.

Oh yea, that was Gary Brackett, Rutgers '02, that was stuffing the Saints Thomas up the middle all day long for the Colts. And it was 2 time Rutgers All-American Eric Foster that stopped Thomas trying to skirt right end on 4th and goal from the 2.

A little note about Bracket - he was a walk on at Rutgers after Schiano talked him into to staying with a scholarship in his sophomore year and he was an undrafted free agent when he signed on with the Colts.

It was RU reunion week in the AFC Championship with Ray Rice on the opposite side of the line for the Ravens.
