Same...
We had to come home from a tournament early last Saturday, we had a dual on Wednesday postponed, and we had a dual scheduled for tonight but that has been postponed as well.
Sucks.

Do your wrestlers ever get star struck because JensenS is their coach?

Re: Snowed in East Coasters
it's screwing things up down here. our dual team playoffs are supposed to start next week but lots of teams haven't been able to finish up their conference duals over the last two weeks, so they haven't been able to determine the playoff berths. And now most of tomorrow's conference tournaments have been cancelled too...

I've been in NC when it snows. Shoot, a 1/2" screws you people up and shuts everything down. And I just love how you drive 4WD pickups 60 mph on packed snow and expected to stop at a red light.
Best part is the farm tractors with rigged up plows out on 95. I drove behind 4 of them doing 5 MPH for about 45 mins before I got to an exit and decided to waste my day in a hotel rather than creep along behind them.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

The first winter I lived in NC there was a storm which dropped literally 1/4 of an inch of snow. Public schools were closed for 2 or 3 days, the day of the 'storm' there were reports on the evening news of kids stuck at school (this was at 8 or 9pm).
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

Re: Snowed in East Coasters
the problem here is the ice. I spent 4 winters in Pennsylvania and never had any trouble because the snow is much easier to deal with than the ice. Can't drive on ice. And I sure would hate to be the superintendent that says "let's have schools" and then a school bus loaded down with kids has an accident on the icy roads.
Schools were closed when I lived in PA as much as they are here.

Re: Snowed in East Coasters
The 2 hour delay is much more common in western PA.
We had one full snow day this year and none last year, but had several 2 hr. delays.
