    right back at you dusty
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

    Same to all.

So is it twenty-ten or two thousand, ten?

Hope all of you had a safe entry into twenty-ten (small argument with my wife, who insists on two thousand ten). A happy and prosperous year to all.

I've given this a lot of thought (I know, get a life, Spider), and I've come to the conclusion that two thousand, ten is correct. Here's why:

1965 is pronounced nineteen sixty five, but that's just an abbreviated way of saying nineteen hundred, sixty five because nineteen hundred is an acceptable way of saying 1900. But twenty hundred is not an appropriate way of saying 2000. It's always two thousand. So 2010 must correctly be said as two thousnad, ten.

    Mrs. Richardson is right.

Better to endear myself to the boss than to her servant.

I'll come up with an appropriate response after I wipe off the blood - and check with the boss. Seriously, you don't think we have stayed married for 36+ years by my insisting I was right, do you?
