I remember when Thanksgiving was my least favorite holiday. My aunt would make her amazing sticky buns, my grandma would make the most amazing gravy, and I couldn't have any of it. I more than make up for it now though....Yummmmmm |

Yes wrestling season that overlaps Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years (sitting on the couch watching bowl Games), Valentines Day, and if you throw in Freestyle and Greco State you can add Easter, all of the major eating holidays during a time when each bite of mashed potatoes or pumpkin pie was 10 stair laps you'd have to run. . .

For the six years that I wrestled, I always promised myself that when my career was over I'd make it up to myself by eating as much as I wanted to. Forty some years and forty some pounds later, I'm proud to say that I've kept that promise.
