    Default Could Blount Be Back?

I'd seen some online references to this, so did a google news search and found it listed at various places, including the NewsOK website for the Oklahoman, the newspaper of Oklahoma City...

PAC-10 BOSS TO MEET WITH BLOUNT
Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott said he will meet with suspended Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount and school officials over possible reinstatement.

Blount was suspended for the season after punching a Boise State player in the aftermath of Oregon?s 19-8 loss to the Broncos in the season opener.

Scott says he?ll meet with Blount, university president Richard Lariviere, athletic director Mike Bellotti and coach Chip Kelly. He didn?t say when the meet will take place.

He was at the Oregon v USC game on Saturday. I surmise the meetings occurred on Sunday. Blount has been practicing all along so he could be back on the field as early as this Saturday. Blount will be back, the question is when, he's got too many in his corner for the commish to deny him.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Almost as soon as the suspension was announced, sports-talk radio hosts in SoCal were saying that the season-long suspension was too harsh and would be modified. Many seemed to think that leaving him out until after the USC game would be adequate. Hmmmmm.

Given how much better the offense has been without him, I'd be hoping to have him back, if I were Iowa.

Hell, Boise St. held him to 8 carries for -5 yards.
