    Ugly,

I don't buy this submissive theory. The rich need me just as much as I need them. If I feel I am being mistreated then I will accept some trouble to see them go down as well.

If the stock market goes down, then they will have to make some adjustments and hopefully those adjustments eventually will be better for the masses.

By your theory Ugly, those fighting dogs were properly killed since that's why rich Vick kept them and gave them food.

Current stock troubles are happening because rich people got too greedy and fooled the masses by giving them bogus housing loans (mortgages) and by hunger for more profit from cheap Chinese goods. Hence with more cheap goods more oil is being used and the price of oil jumped enormously hurting the economy.

Big first I would ask how many rich people you know and by rich I mean have a net worth of at least a million dollars? Second how you make these comparisons is beyond me. I did not say that all rich people want to help others nor did I say that the rich did not need us. I was making a point that what hurst them hurst us and let me tell you if they are rich enough they arent falling far. You seem to think that all people of wealth are evil and only have their interest in mind and I can tell you from experience this is not the case. The fact is that most of the wealth in America is first generation wealth meaning it was not inherited and those people have helped others create some type of personal wealth I.E google. Please do put all the blame on mortgage companies because people can not read fine print and did not understand what they were getting into.

    Ugly,

In my ideal world lending companies MAKE SURE they are giving loans to people that those people can afford to pay short of some unforseen disaster. In you world its ok to give people some bogus mortgage if people can't notice it themselves. Good luck enjoying your world.

You are wrong. Most wealth in America is inherited. don't give me Gates and Buffett because they are the exception, not the rule. Most wealth with a range of $5 million and more was inherited OR earned in specific MONEY making professions. I would say 80% of that wealth was inherited and built up from prior wealth.

I know many rich people. I work in New York City at some of the leading financial corporations.

    Big,

In my world people can take responsability for the choices they make. If it is proved that companies profited off of fraudulent morgtages then they should suffer the maximum penalty. If people are in trouble becuase they were in a hurry to have a house and did not think through the consequences of a mortgage they could not afford. I also believe that we should pass an ethincal lending law that has strict guidlines for lenders. But then people would B!tch at the gov. for being parental.

Big you are absolutely wrong about wealth in this nation. Look up that stats and you will see the overwhelming majority of wealth in this nation is first generation.

So the millionaires you know are ruthless people who do not care about anyone else. Well I am sorry about that because the ones that I know do care about others and do want to help other generate wealth to take care of their families. It is unfortunate about your experience. But I guess I would ask do you actually know these people or do you just know they are rich. And do you have a preset disposition toward rich people.

Nobody is ruthless. I am saying they unfairly protect their wealth. They get tax breaks and only certain professions and positions make lots of money. That's what i don't like. I don't like the inequality of pay from one profession to another. That is why I am glad when stock brokers suffer.

I don't need their help because that automatically puts me in inferior position. I want everyone who has similar level of education that they have and works as hard as they do in what ever other professions to make the same money as they do. Until then, I am glad they suffer from stock market decline.

Why? You chose to get into your profession knowing what the pay is or what the potential pay is. Also some jobs create more money so the employees make more money or the job is specialized so they make more money. I believe most people besides a select few groups are paid what they are worth.

Yes I chose and many other people chose as well. That is not the point. The point is I feel many people work just as hard as people who make more money and have as much education but get paid a fraction. I am against MONEY professions. People should get paid only on merit.

The difference between you and me Ugly is that you will take better living conditions over dignity and moral value while I will never do such thing. Fair is more important to me than living conditions. I will ride a bicycle my whole life if I have to if that means just values.

Hey Big, I have a friend who has a college degree and works about 12-14 hours a day at playing video-games, are you saying that he deserves to make just as much for playing video-games as someone who works 12-14 hours a day building houses or performing surgery?
