I would normally disagree, but after last night.

Texas and VT both played poorly, but good teams find a way to beat teams they are better than. Thats the difference between Texas and VT I suppose.

Then how do explain Purdue, a piss poor team, the worst in the Big Ten, over a great team like Ohio State.

Oh well, it was Ohio State you know.

i cannot believe i just saw a hokies fan say texas is overrated
    we're taling VIRGINIA TECH! ACC!
I'm a Virginian myself, yes, UVA fan (ACC Coastal leader as of now btw) but I still want
to see any virginia team do well (ex. ODU) but VT was soooo overrated
Should Texas be number 3? Who else do you put there?
Boise State, cincy and tcu don't have the schedule strength while most other teams
have one loss or more. As far as Bradford goes, let's not forget that he's only a redshirt
junior and still has a year of eligibility left. I'm hoping this will keep him at OU for one more
    year. BEAT TEXAS!

How about UVA go to the CAA...I bet they'd get top 3 or so, behind William and Mary of course.

Let me know when you play half the schedule of VT.

Listen to my boy Colin Cowherd on the issue.

Sam Bradford - red shirt junior
Sam Bradford - separated shoulder, likely requires surgery
Sam Bradford - $50 Million franchise quarterback
Sam Bradford - Was an OU QB, but toast for the remainder of the year, not jeopardizing that contract.

As much as we love guys to "stay in school" and we think it's great when they go all 4 years....think about some of the examples of guys who stayed around....

First one that comes to mind is Leinart, consensus number 1 to 7th?
    Joakhim Noah-consensus number 1-8
Bradford-in the eyes of many to.....?

why do people insist on bringing up the William and Mary game?
Here's a lil somethin for ya; "different team. different week."

UVA is not the team they were week 1
Anyone who thinks that knows nothing about college football

Take BYU first couple of weeks for example with their games against OU and FSU

Not saying UVA is a better team than VT, but let them prove whether they are or not.
We'll know this saturday when Georgia Tech comes to town.

Yes they can only be the team that was good and not the team that was bad.

Because maryland is so awesome..going to overtime with JMU..was that their bad game i cant use as an example?

no, that's is not what i said.
i just said i'm not saying they're neccesarily a good team.

but it's a different team and a different week.
if they walk out there against georgia tech and lose by 25, they're the same old UVA

but if they beat them, what more do you need?
They already beat one team that was in the AP top 20 then
