Rough break for Seymour going from the Pats to the Raiders, but this could turn out to be a big break for the Raiders as he still is playing at a pretty high level when he's healthy.

Seymour is heading into the last year of a contract, and the Raiders sent back a first round pick (which given their history is probably going to be a high one) so I can see the rationale of the deal.

Raiders are the one of the three worst teams in the league. Russell is going to be a failure that they'll continue to coddle for the next three years, because he was a first round pick (first pick of the draft). They have three very average RB's that have different skill-sets, so they'll dink around with different packages forever. Bush is a bruiser, McFadden is an outside guy, and Fargas is just good enough to remain the starter. They have no #1 receiver, and barely a @2 receiver.

On top of that, Al Davis is a delusional megalomaniac. The Raiders are hopeless.

The raiders have a very solid defense and now it gets even better. Russell became very efficient as the season ended last year and all of your talk is based on what you here from the media. Hater. Al Davis is an Icon and one of the founders of the NFL as it stands today. Yes he has made some very questionable moves in the past and the game is passing him by but if it was not for Al Davis the NFL would be about as relevant as Major League baseball.

The Raiders D gave up the 6th most yards in the league last year, and the 9th most points. I heard that from the media.

first of all Raiders are a joke and have been for years.....Davis was a genius 30 years ago but the game passed him by. Of course i am a Broncos fan so I might be a little biased...lol

I heard this morning that Seymour hasn't reported to the Raiders yet.
