Dont worry Pm I lied too, you arent in Scottsdale but your damn close. Here is the only place that I can reccomend based off of the original that I have eaten at everytime I go to phoenix.
Carolinas Mexican Food North
1599 E Orangewood Ave # 175, Phoenix, AZ
THe original is fantastic so I hope this one holds up to its reputaion. Other than that the Point always has good food so try it.

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
There's an Aunt Chilada's right by there, which has really good Mexican food. I really don't know anything about authentic Asian food in the area, but I'll ask a guy that I work with and I'll get back to you.
I live walking distance to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, which has a few good places to eat also, and is only about a 15 minute drive directly east from where you are. The Yardhouse has good everything there, Z Tejas is pretty decent Mexican food, and Kona Grill has good Sushi and other Asian food, even though I'm not exactly sure how authentic it is.

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
haha homer.....first thing that came to my mind was "Shanghai Knights"
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
If there were a Shanghai Nights anywhere near Scottsdale, I would be there every Wednesday between 9:47 and 10:13.

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
My thank$ to everyone for helping out. I ended up $taying back but my wife made the trip (it wa$ her busine$$ trip anyway). Anyway, apparently $he and $ome colleague$ found Mastro'$ Ocean Club. $he $aid the cocktail$, hor de ovre$ and meal wa$ good and her four gue$t$ enjoyed it. You forgot to warn me about that place. Would anyone like to gue$$ the tab, not including the tip and cocktail$?

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
All I know is that place is ridiculously expensive. Never been there and I'm not too upset about that. It obv depends on how many cocktails they had. I'll guess $800?

Re: Help with Phoenix, Arizona
Wow homer, that's impressive. That's right in the ballpark including the tip. The cocktails were complimentary because something held up their seating so they had to wait. Now excuse me, I'm late for my second job.
