Rules are simple for you new comers. Each week 10 games are listed. Ignore the point spread, just pick the winner of each game. Sounds simple doesn't it. Hah ! If you can get 60% of the Div 1 games correct you'll be among the leaders. I'll come up with some kind prizses for the Champ(s) (if anyone can beat me this year).
Scoring is simple, 1 point for picking the winner of 9 games each week. The 10th game, the bonus game, carries 5 points for a total 14 possible points each week. Each week there is a "Jimmy the Greek of the Week" champ.
S/He that accummulates the most points at the end of the regular season (a/k/a Army v Navy) will be declared the Pick'em Season Champ.
S/He that accummulates the most points at the end of the Bowl games (regular season included) is declared the National Pick'em Champ. (Returning Champs include CB, Red Viking (2x) and RYou.
Want bonus points ? Give me your picks for the following by September 12.
10 points - pick the National Champs (winner of the BCS Bowl game)
10 points - pick the Heisman Trophy Winner
10 points - pick the Butkus Award winner
(Be wise about your picks, they have decided the Season Champ in 3 of the past 4 years)
Bowl Games will be worth 5 points each.
Each of the BCS games will carry 10 points for the winner.
