The first ten hands of any final table are always stressful. Players are nervous and they don't want to be the first player to bust out. Jerry Yang became the aggressor early on. He won the first two pots and five out of the first nine. On Hand #9, Jerry Yang was the first player to move all in. He pushed Lee Childs off a pot, who folded pocket Queens (and showed). Yang won the largest pot so far at the final table, worth over 11.63 million. There were not any hands that went to the river. Only one hand went as deep as the turn. The were five total flops and five of the hands were won by pre-flop raisers. Phil Hilm is still the chipleader with 23.3 million, but Jerry Yang jumped up from 8th to third place in chips. He's up to 20 million, only 3 mil behind the leader.

Lee Childs just got bounced too - 7th place. The wrestlers are out.

    Philip Hilm - 9th Place
    Lee Watkinson - 8th place
    Lee Childs - 7th place
    Hevad Khan - 6th place
(all were busted by chip leader Jerry Yang)

    Jon Kalmar - 5th place -

The pace is really picking up, we are down to 4. It has taken 9-10 hours to get to 4 players in the past. This group did it in 5 hours.

    Chip leaders -
    1 Jerry Yang 70,130,000

    2 Raymond Rahme 29,780,000

    3 Tuan Lam 17,985,000

    4 Alexander Kravchenko 9,590,000

ESPN and WSOP have pulled a fast one. The reporters are not permitted to post summaries of each hand for the final table. They can only provide summaries of chip leaders and the chip amounts.

Jerry Yang who started the final table in 5th position maintains a commanding lead with 65 mil, 40 mil more than the No. 2. He has won four pots in the last ten hands and has now won 34 out of 90 hands at the final table.
