Well, it's come to the point where it's obvious that no one except Spider and Wiltz even care about this topic. No one has even said, "Sorry, we don't know what happened" or "Oops! I had a brain cramp while I was monitoring!" or even "I thought it was inappropriate so I deleted it."

It's really interesting to me that this board, which I have really enjoyed, recently celebrated its first birthday. If I remember correctly, it came about mainly for freedom of speech. Several people were banned from the other board and the censorship was so strange that you couldn't even say Zadick.

But if that's the way it is, I'm sorry to say that I'm not really interested in participating. If anyone wants to get ahold of me, send me a PM and hopefully it will notify me by email.

It is not matter not caring, just watching the string. I read your initial post, didn't think any think of it.

Obviously, there have been horrendous ideas posted and not erased.
Jensen in particular has a high threshold for uglyisms.

I apologize for not getting back to this thread sooner. Yes, I did delete the post, and I don't see myself as discriminatory for having done so.

Your posting of the picture, and your comments on the "dire political situation" while maybe being tongue in cheek, and in hindsight I can see that it may have had that intent, still had a political undertone to it. I created the "Politics and Religion" forum for a reason, to have posts with political undertones put there.

I apologize if you feel your were discriminated against, it was not my intent to make you feel that way. I came upon the post, saw that it was political and deleted it, that was it. I think the whole situation in Iraq is f'ed up too, but as I said in the previous paragraph there is a forum for stuff like that. Had the post been put there, I wouldn't have touched it.

I also apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I fully admit that I don't read every thread on the board, thats part of the reason why I picked up a few more moderators after the Swazy fiasco a month or so ago. In the future I advise anyone who feels grievance with me, PM me, thats the best way to get in touch.

I personally hope you stay, you bring a lot of good things to the board with your posts, and I've enjoyed having you on as a member.

I hope that you will continue to express your opinions here, and understand that the posters and moderators are always learning. The best way to solve something is to talk it out candidly- there should always be a logical, rule related reason for a post or thread removal.

Thanks for responding. I knew that there must be some missed communication when Bonnie didn't get a reply, because you guys have always been true to your commitment to a user-friendly forum. In case she doesn't come back on to read this, it might be a good idea to send her an email. I would miss her, as I'm sure we all would.

Sorry, I deleted my post, after I saw yours, which explained what happened--making mine somewhat redundant.

Okay, for what it's worth, I'll repeat my story that, on the other board, I had words in my message changed by a moderator to say something different than I wrote. Cradleking had it happen too. But then many of us probably have similar stories.
