I'm beginning to not like this guy. Just got his ass beat in 36 seconds and is now going around talking trash on one of the nicest and most charismatic fighters in the game today. Although I've personally never met Ricco Rodriguez, everything I've seen on him, he seems like a genuine good guy. You guys judge for yourselves.

Defending Ricco Rodriguez? LOL. Detective metsfan will have something to say about this, I am sure.

No, no, no, I am not defending the man, I am criticizing Sylvia for having bad things to say about a man who seems to be out of the title picture and more on trying to get his life in order. I saw Rodriguez on VH-1's celebrity Rehab, and I have read a couple of recent blogs on another site where he was being praised for being both an Abu Dabi world champion and a UFC world champion. Not too many of those. I understand he has battled weight problems as well and he seems like a very nice guy who doesn't need Sylvia trashing him. What is the significance with Rodriguez and Metsfan? I'm not following your point Rusty.

F'n Tim Sylvia, how dare he talk about the inventor of the Bob and Weave, the one dance move guaranteed to get any man laid. its like spanish fly on steroids. and Ricco is a good dude, he hooked us up at Studio 54, even showed us the Bob and Weave.

I think you guys would get along great. I can picture it now ... Adolf & Ricco breaking bread over a granite countertop in some Las Vegas kitchen ... anybody else able to picture that?

I can picture that, the thing is that we need to get them together at Cobras house, but I dont think Cobra has granite countertops.

You sure Cobra doesn't have granite countertops? Are they marble? Because much like Adolf, Cobra don't play no Formica.

Didn't realize until I just checked sherdog that Ricco has had 5 fights since the Rothwell match in IFL last fall. Looks like he is working his way back. Hope to see him get on a hot streak and on a televised bout soon.

Also, Sylvia sounded like he said he wanted to see Ricco lose in the event that this interview was being done at. Did Ricco fight that night? And if so, against whom & did he win? This interview occurred after the Affliction show, and I don't see anything on Ricco's sherdog listing that occurred after Affliction.

i was curious about what Sylvia said also, the interviewer was saying something about a title fight. i may have to email Cobretti and ask him.
