Affliction:Banned brings in over 100,000 PPV buys
Didn't see this posted on here yet, but it looks as though Affliction did pretty well in PPV sales.

Thanks.
So gross is at least $6m ($2m gate and $40x100g) and they probably get around 60% of that.
Hope we get a more accurate number, but more than 100g is good in light of other debuts. They bought themselves attention

They get 40% of that, at least that's standard PPV practice.

Well over 100K PPV buys?? I don't believe that for a second. If it's true...good for them..but i doubt it
Keep in mind they also told us the Honda Center was sold out, when in fact there were thousands of tickets unsold. If they lie to us about something we're going to find out about a few days later, what would they do about PPV numbers we may never know? I could see maybe 70k buys. Wouldn't be surprised by 37 k buys though.

I am also taking a guess at how they share the ticket revenue - have to imagine they get more than half of that.
The UFC gets more than half of PPV, not less than half. Sherdog stated the percentage (55% or 60%, forget which).
Perhaps Affliction couldn't negotiate terms as favorable, but 40% would be pretty bad

Still not an official number, just a promoter making claims....waiting til the official numbers come out.

Adolf, when it comes to salaries you insist we stick to what CSAC told us.
CSAC told us ticket sales were over $2m and comp tickets were $600g.
Correct though, he could be lying, but this event generated a lot more fan interest than any other non-UFC event I know of

The UFC gets 60% (I believe) NOW, because they're a proven moneymaker. Noone starts out making that percentage, 40% is the norm.

Hopefully they negotiated more. A difference between something like Blind Date unsensored and a major event like this one that can make lots of money for the provider too.
I also don't think we will find out the number of PPV buys. We will get a rumored figure and that will probably be it. Hopefully it is well over 100g buys.
With all this mma coming out, its hard to see fans being able to come up with ~$40 several times a month to pay for all these events.
