I would be there for sure.
I would conveniently coordinate a trip back to Jersey if that were to happen.

I think it would be hard for Fedor to take him down if he is running like that in that big ring. Fedor is only average at takedowns. Unlike Werdum, AA will respect his standing as much as the prospect of being underneath him

Glad to see Fedor looking to get back in quick.

His "people" have ludicrously mismanaged his career the last several years, these coming fights should give him the opportunity to again definitively prove that he is the best.

Fedor will destroy Arlovski in the first round. I'm not interested in seeing him fight anyone except for Randy.

Fedor would beat Randy like he owed him money.

For me Fedor v. Randy would be like watching Fedor beat up my dad, and not because I hold any particular affinity for Randy but because Randy and my dad are about the same age.

You have to respect Fedor's sticking to his guns. He got the paydays he wanted, on his terms, with the allowances he wanted. Whether or not Affliction lasts for a long time or not, he'll have his million+ paydays without having had to sign away his life to JB. The best in the world at anything will always be in demand. Kudos to Comrade Fedor!!!

I think people are too influenced over his last fight. He's dangerous and very well rounded and is #1. He didn't look nearly as great against Lindland and he ended up on top of him by grabbing the ropes. He didn't that great in his previous fight either

Plus, Randy dropped Tim instantly in their fight (just failed to get the choke Fedor got) and Arlovski dropped him instantly in their first two fights (their first matchup was a lot like this fight).

Randy has much better takedowns than Fedor. He also hasn't been submitted in years, spending rounds on the ground against Ricco, Barnett, Gonzaga, Vitor.

Randy has a shot. Just can't get nailed at the start of the fight or when going for a takedown and can't get submitted on top (and certainly can't end up on the bottom).

    I'll give him a 1/3 chance

Randy (the last Randy we saw, anyway) is much faster then Tim, so he won't get schooled in the same fashion. I still think he'll lose, though.

I want to know how many fighters can reverse an olympic silver medalist by having one hand on the rope. Grapping the rope may have aided it but more importantly it was his judo/sambo technique that allowed him to reverse position.

My favorite critique of Fedor is bringing up past fights where he submitted the opponent in 2 or 3 minutes.

I have always thought he would beat Couture so this fight hasnt suddenly swayed my opinion. I think he is a better striker than Couture with more power. I think Fedor is very hard to take down and even if you do take him down he will submit you off his back or reverse you. Coutures hope of winning would be get in top position and try to ride out a decision but I think Fedor is way to good off his back for that to happen.

The guys you named are not as good off their back, for the most part they prefer to be on top pounding on you and looking for submissions. Against a great wrestler like Couture it is less likely they will be on top. Fedor does not need to be on top, so Couture does not have an advantage by staying off his back.
