Default Affliction - $3.3m in salaries

I hope they can make it, would force the UFC to pay more if they want the best fighters (I think they would be popular without them, but they stated that is their goal)

Arlovski got $1m! (also did anyone else catch McCarthy's comment about the UFC d!cking him around)

Not sure about Fedor's pay, must be more than meets the eye here (like PPV share or something).

    MAIN EVENT FIGHTERS

? Fedor Emelianenko ($300,000/no win bonus) def. Tim Sylvia ($800,000)

    MAIN CARD FIGHTERS

? Andre Arlovski ($750,000/$250,000 win bonus) def. Ben Rothwell ($250,000)

? Josh Barnett ($300,000/no win bonus) def. Pedro Rizzo ($70,000)

? Mark Hominick ($10,000/win bonus was $5,000) def. Savant Young ($7,000)

? Renato ?Babalu? Sobral ($90,000/win bonus was $30,000) def. Mike Whitehead ($50,000)

? Matt Lindland ($300,000/win bonus was $75,000) def. Fabio ?Negao? Nascimiento ($20,000)

? Antonio Rogerio Nogueira ($50,000/no win bonus) def. Edwin Dewees ($15,000)

    ? Mike Pyle ($20,000/win bonus was $5,000) def. J.J. Ambrose ($5,000)

    PRELIMINARY CARD FIGHTERS

? Vitor Belfort ($140,000/win bonus was $70,000) def. Terry Martin ($30,000)

? Paul Buentello ($80,000/win bonus was $20,000) def. Gary Goodridge ($25,000)

? Justin Levens ($6,000) vs. Ray Lizama ($3,000)*

*Bout did not take place. Total pay was negotiated.

I wonder how much Fedor actually made because you know he didnt just get 300k while Sylvia made 800k.

Good God, those are some staggering figures. Obviously, I have some concern about how sustainable that particular model is. I guess we'll see, and I'll have my fingers crossed.

Me too Dingo, but perhaps they figured this was the best way to advertise themselves; put together a stacked card that gets everyone talking.

Maybe they can announce 2 more cards and spread some of the big matchups apart, especially the 2 Hwt fights that some think are an informal grand prix.

Tim's stock really dropped; very short fight and failed to get any offense going. Affliction needs UFC-like PPV buys to afford guys like Tim as a second tier fighter. Would like to see him against Barnett. The GP is messed up anyways with out Aleks, I guess you give Fedor either AA or Barnett, but since AA fought Paul B before, perhaps AA-Fedor and that should set up a Fedor-Barnett fight (I think AA is capable of winning if he is mentally strong through)

Agree with Sylvia's stock dropping. They will likely put him against someone that he is likely to beat for his next fight, to not drop his stock any lower.

Gasp again!!! The amateurish production lead to these two poor bastards not even being allowed to fight.

The $5g is an eyesoar, I agree with that. Laying out >$3m, no reason to pay 1 guy poorly.

I didn't know the details on those two not fighting - it was the fault of Affliction? Terrible if so and they trained and showed up. I don't know any of the details - do tell if you know them

Allegedly it's because they ran out of time. I don't understand why they just wouldn't have a dark match.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
