I am so loyal to Dana White, thaqt I ordered several of the unaired fights from UFC.tv in order to balance things out. I even had Detlef pull a tv from a guest room and we ran 4 TV's, 3 with Affliction nd 1 with the UFC replay.

It saddens me greatly Matt Lindland out earns Fedor in the so called greatest card in MMA history. Good for Mr. Lindland, but Booooooooo Affliction for their treatment of P4P top 3 fighter in the world, Fedor. And don't get smart with me Claudale!
LOL - how did your party go? Did they talk you into airing this on big screen TV #3?

Is it possible, Dingo, that some MMA fans are jealous that top fighters are cashing in? Why else do so many think Dana and the Fertittas deserve all their money? Fighters should be doing it for free (even though we don't get it for free)

As a fan, I always wish the best for the fighters, especially in light of the money the UFC is making. Companies do exist where the owners make a lot of money and their employees are paid well

I don't have a theory on that Claudale. I'm continually baffled by some of the stuff I see from people who claim they are fans of the sport. The sport is nothing more than the output of fighters. In short, it's nothing without its fighters.

I understand brand loyalty, I can even see being somewhat of a fan of a sport's executive, but I'm truly shocked by some of the harsh attitudes some fans have toward the sport's fighters. I'm also shocked that so many people swallow what certain executives attempt to feed them.

I'm optimistic that Fertitta's presence will help offset some of the shite from White.

No actually none of the casual mma fans who showed up even knew Affliction does fights or that an event was happening. A couple of the hard core fans asked me if Tim Sylvia was still fighting Adre Arlovski for the UFC belt, or if that fight has been cancelled. I informed them that those fights were happening (I corrected the match up for them) and I offered to order it if they wanted to see it. I had Detlef Pull a flatscreen out from the mother in law quarters (Bless her soul) and another from the maids quarters. We ran the UFC replay in the main room since most of the interest was on seeing that again, and we brought TV's in to suurrounding areas (sun room facing pool, living room, ktichen area).

Most of my guests liked Arlovski the best and recognized him as UFC champion. Detlef and I went upstaires before the party was over, and we had our way with the new receptionist, (switch-a-roo) but that's another story.

Haha, not bad, Old Ballcoach. I think we all know that Donny T. ain't gonna lose a whole lot of sleep if Affliction goes under, but Atencio will be offering BJs in the alley in exchange for some cheeseburgers if and when it happens.

I'm sure JB appreciates your support. He didn't mean you when he talked about how fans are just keyboard warriors.

I was trying to get a hold of Adolf when I got to Anaheim because I wasnt sure that I was gonna go to the event, but then I remembered how he speaks of some of the debauchery that goes on at his parties and I didnt want to submit my boys to that kind of weirdness

Dingo, you said this years ago on themat - sometimes are viewpoints are nearly identical.

Adolf - sounds like you have a sick pad. I would imagine they would recognize Tim too, right? He was the UFC heavyweight champ until his last fight (Arlovski was on the undercard in his last fight)

Did anyone else think the lighting and picture of the Affliction event was kind of poor? I watched the UFC in HD and Affliction in regular broadcast, but seems like that is an area where Affliction needs improvement. Very few colors, almost like black, white and red only (modified black and white)

Tim hasn't been champion since he lsot to Couture, having two fights in the UFC as a non-champion before leaving.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...
