Why the heck isn't Nogueira on the TV card?

I don't see it as much of a big deal that Ortiz, COuture or Shamrock will be there. I also don't see the fact that a few of Trumps Hollywood friends and a handful of athletes will be there either. You pretty much get that at every UFC show in Vegas, so I don't see much of a reason to have a press release on it.

Now if Madonna, instead of her husband, some NFL quarterbacks, perhaps Bonds and Clemens, maybe any of the Heavyweight boxing champs, DeLaHoya, Tiger Woods, Shaq Diesel, Kobe, Jordan, Gretzky, those types of guys show up, I could see where one may say, "damn, this looks like a Laker game!" That may be press worthy.

Sly Stallone, Robert Downing, Jr., Ashton Kutcher...HUH? Those are 3 pretty big stars. Granted, they're not Kevin James, but they'll do in a pinch.

Shawn Merriman and Michael Strahan are pretty big NFL names. They aren't QBs, but I am a fan of the QB crusher. These two guys have black belts in crushing QBs.

I agree those are all big names. What I'm saying is that those types are all regularly at UFC events already. I hardly see a reason to have a press release for something that's routine in the UFC. Stalone was actually interview by Joe Rogan not too long ago on one of the UFC shows. Now if there were going to be some celebrities who aren't normally there, I would then find it noteworthy.

You can't possibly fault them for hyping their initial show, especially as a fan of JB.

No I guess they have to do what ever they can in order to draw some interest. Hardly anyone knows 1/2 of their main event. I imagine some may buy the card in hopes of seeing Madonna's husband in the crowd..
