Thread: Dana White supports troubled Rampage

Dingo I was making a comparison between the JT scenario and the Rampage Scenario, to point out how different they are and how one doesn't deserve any consideration and the other does.

In my example, I did not say that the employee we'd help was an engineer or a board member, it could be the shipping clerk or the utility guy who sweeps and mops the place. He's part of our family too and if he gets in trouble and we can help, we'll be right there too. Now admittedly, Dana said they care about most of the guys, so perhaps that same utility guy wouldn't be treated with as much understanding and support by Mr. White, as he would be by myself and our company.

One more point. I like Dana White. I think his antics and brash personality are great for TV and for generating interest in the UFC. Much like a Vince McMahon for the WWF, or a Mark Cuban for the Dallas Mavericks. With that said, I criticize him whenever it is called for. I have no problem calling him out and stating it how it is. I have agreed with you on many issues concerning White. I just happen to disagree with many as well. Perhaps I'm one of the unbiased where he is concerned.

I did not see enough about thecobra's views where White is concerned, or at least i do not recall, therefore I can not speculate on it.

You've said you won't order the Affliction card out of loyalty to JB. I think that sort of 86'd your neutrality.
    I heart Jazzy B. White.

I love that you refer to him as JB

Perhaps a foreign concept to most, but my loyalty certainly doesn't compromise my ability to remain objective.

For example, although I would have never stepped out of my late wife, rest her soul, I can certainly concede that there were more attractive women walking the face of this earth. Not many, but there were some.

It's a good MMA card. It shouldn't have anything to do with some sense of loyalty towards an already very rich man. I can't stand JB but I still purchase his product. My loyalty is towards the sport. Maybe I'm the neutral one in this discussion after all.

I may have been swayed to purchase the card after all, once I learned Madonna's husband may be in the crowd. LoL...

I suspect Rampage is a depressed personality, his sudden decline in performance while in Pride always puzzled me. This is pretty common among fighters, fighting takes not just a physical toll on the athlete, it takes a psychological one as well. That's why I like wrestling better than boxing, it doesn't scar people like boxing does. I hope everything works out well for him, he seems like a great guy.
