this is a tough one. jesse was obviously acting out like a drunken college kid, vegas has seen that before. rampage however may not have been under the influence of anything, at least i haven't heard it and his mug shot looks clear eyed. so one was a drunk and the other may have had a mental breakdown of sorts. how do you handle them differently? jesse's behavior is more excusable and controllable. rampage may need medication and to step out of the fight game just to survive.

what would you do as a judge on these three cases:
    1. rampage goes on a rampage, no drugs or alcohol but caused by depression.
    2. jesse goes on drunken rampage in vegas, property damage and disturbing the peace.
    3. andy dick on binge drunk again pulls 17 yr. old girls top down in parking lot of a rib joint.

    you make the call.
but then again, i may be retarded

I hear ya Dingo - I'm not saying I think how Dana handled the JT situation was right, just that classifying it as kicking out a limo window minimized it a bit. From what I've heard, they hit several places that night and basically got kicked out of every one based on JT's behavior. It's just the only place they had the surveillance video from was the Fertittas' casino.

Another way you can look at it is this ... When someone already in your family that you have a solid relationship with gets in trouble, you generally step up and help that family member - no matter how wrong they may have been. But if someone who's not in your family yet is known for getting in trouble, you'd be apprehensive about that guy marrying your daughter and becoming part of the family.

I don't know about the family comparison. If Quinton were the same funny, charismatic guy and a lousy fighter, the UFC would drop him like he's hot. Quinton is a cashcow.

That's speculation Dingo. Mr. White brought back Jeremy Jackson after kicking him off the show. The man is bringing in JT Money, after kicking him off the show. The fact that he is helping Rampage does not show that it's because he's a cash cow one bit. JT isn't in the UFc and was acting like an a$$. It appears that Mr. Jackson is sick, no comparison what so ever.

I don't think it's an issue of what happens to each of your examples, it's how he addressed them--his outrage with Jesse, for instance, when his show has encouraged similar behavior in the past and has provided unlimited alcohol, etc. It's pure speculation at this point to guess what's going on with Quinton. I like JB's comment about Quinton's alleged religious ramblings--"he's deeply religious". I guess you believe he deeply cares about Quinton as a human being; I'm a little skeptical on that issue. However, I can't fault JB for wanting to maintain what is a valuable commodity in Jackson.

I don't believe White was really so upset with JT Money and that the incident was so troubling and damaging to the UFC. If it were, they would not have shown it on tv for everyone to see, they would have blacked it out and no one but the few who were actually there would have even known. It made for good tv, so they showed it, and they kicked JT out for being an a$$hole. The guy's not even in the UFC and he's acting like a complete loser. The UFC reaction was perfect for the situation.

The Rampage situation is a real life issue that has to be dealt with. You can't just turn the cameras off and pretend it didn't happen. The guy has some serious issues going on and White has reacted in honorable fashion in the way he's addressing it.

If one of my guys was going through the same thing or similar to what Rampage is going through, we'd be right there helping him as well. If some guy from the temp agency went out to our parking lot and acted like a jerk, we'd have the Irvine PD come and get him and we'd cut ties with him forever. But that's just us.

But you keep 'your guys' because they are valuable, i.e. they are commodities. You don't worry about losing a temp b/c they aren't valuable. That's my point. I'm not faulting JB for trying to protect his financial interest in Jackson's well-being, but I really don't think too many people buy the 'humanitarian' angle from JB.

Basically, Dana WHite is incapable of doing anything good in the Dingo's eyes. His opinion, of course, is his own and I disagree.
