At this age, he provides little talent and little excitement. Not hate, just the facts.
Agreed. I am not interested in seeing an over the hill Ken get beat up again. Noone questions his heart and love for the sport, but it is time for him to hang it up for good.

I agree with many here. Ken should pretty much have a fork stuck in him. In fact there may be one fighter who wouldn't beat him up badly, and that's Frank, mostly because, well, they're brothers. I gotta believe it would be a chess match - they gotta know what to expect from each other. From that point of view and the sheer curiosity standpoint, this could represent a doable "last big score" fight for Ken. But that wouldn't be enough to make it worth watching.

No-you are not the only one that could care less to see him fight again. I did not want to see him fight Tito the last 2 times. I think it is a lose lose situation for both of them and they better be getting paid a pretty penny to fight as brothers.

    Here's the 1st fight:

Ken Shamrock Vs. Bas Rutten 1, Pancrase - Road To The Championship 3 | Veoh Video Network

Shamrock won all but one of the exchanges. On the ground, he dominated, and effectively submitted Rutten 4 times. The final and fight ending submission was a choke, by the by, and one of the best RNC's I've seen.

What does the fact that Bas was a better striker in his other fights have to do with anything? In THEIR fights, Ken outstruck him. Cro Cop is a better striker then Fedor in their other fights, but in their head to head fight, Fedor struck wel with him and many feel he outstruck the Croatian.
You gotta be kidding me. Shamrock lands a few jabs and rushes with some wild haymakers that miss. Bas lands several very solid kicks and at least as many punches. Ken used his wild shots just to get into grab Bas. That's your great example of him outstriking Bas????? Really?

Your Fedor/CroCop example is pretty inaccurate considering we knew Fedor had good hands before this fight. Shamrock has always had well-below average hands, as evidenced by this fight and his lack of KOs and TKOs. He never even came close to stunning Bas with anything that he threw. It's made even more moot by the fact that the fight was almost exclusively on the ground. You are really reaching here, but I understand since Ken is your guy.

    "Petey my heart!!!"

    Ken questioned his own heart.

We knew that Fedor had good hands before that fight? Really? No one at that time expected him to out strike Mirko. No one. Just like No one predicted him to beat heath or Nog at the time.
