Dingo - I thought Goldberg said he left that job to train full time during one of his recent fights?
Jensen - the bonuses make a night and day difference. They seem to range from $20g to $75g and often increase smaller fighters' paydays several fold. Its great incentive, but its nothing a fighter can count on. I think everyone should get at least $20g. That isn't much and wouldn't make more than a rounding difference in the big picture of the UFC.

In his interviews leading up to his fight with Koscheck he said he was still a fireman.

He probably did say that, as Goldy has been known to be less than informed in the past (he's still PURE CLASS, though!) and I know the dept. has been generous in allowing him leaves of absences, but he is still a firefighter in Indy.
I heart Jazzy B. White.

LOL - thanks Dingo and PJ. My brother is a fireman in Newark, and he would have enough time on the job to train full time.
Must have taken a lot of time off to do that show.
