    Default What's next at LHW?

Dave Meltzer is reporting that we will be seeing: Winner of Liddell-Evans fighting Griffin for the title. The winner of that will be fighting the winner of Rampage-Wanderlei Silva. Then the winner of that will likely be fighting the winner of Thiago Silva-Machida. WOW. Things are looking GREAT at 205.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

So where does Anderson Silva factor into all of this, since it looks as though he will be trying to hold the belt in 2 different weights?

I'm sure theoretically giving Chuck a title shot after "just" beating Wanderlei and Rashad after dropping two in a row will make a lot people mad, but I don't care much. I'd have liked to see him fight Shogun before he got a shot, but this is good enough.

Forrest v. Chuck would make the UFC a lot of money and should be very exciting. Just like this last fight which was a match up that some people hated on initially.

Rampage v. Wanderlei really is the logical fight to make with Rampage now having lost the strap. That is of course if they don't go with an immediate rematch.

Then I'll be rooting VERY hard for Thiago Silva should he fight Machida.

Pretty weak that two more guys would get title shots before Machida.

Machida needs to either be exciting in his fights, or beat a clearly top 10 guy. He's done neither yet.

I agree but in the business sense of things, Dana wants his boyfriend Chuck to have the belt again and if Rampage had won, it wasnt going to happen.

Its either an immediate rematch or Machida.

Is Shogun still in the UFC?
I have not heard his name thrown out in any possible match-ups.

What is everbody's opinion on this possible rematch?
I saw only the highlights of their Pride matchup and Wanderlei did quite a number on Rampage.

Different fight now that its in the UFC, Wanderlei is not the same Axe Murderer that we saw in Pride, blame it on roids, the Cro Cop or Henderson KO's but he's different although we did see some of the old Wand in the Jardine massacre, I would give Rampage a better chance to beat Wand now than before.
