I agree that Henderson would be the favorite in that fight but lets not forget that Franklin only losses are to the best middleweight and the one of the best lhw's.
He is still a great fighter and a fight against Henderson would be a great one in my mind.
Henderson needs a win. 3 losses to start his return to the UFC isn't good for marketing. Maybe he will get Franklin in a fight or 2. That would be interesting. I would be pullin hard for Hendo, but Franklin has only lost to top comp and is very dangerous.

I'd be pulling hard for Dan, too, but don't forget in his last 5 fights at MW, he is 3-2, with all of his wins by decision (1 by split decision, although that was 3 years ago.) I don't think he will just walk through Henderson.

Great match up . Really impressed with Palhares. Hendo will be looking to knock his head off and avoid the takedown. Will be a tough test for both guys. War Hollywood!
I think they need to set Franklin up with some top guys - otherwise, why keep him around? He's had 2 title shots and I don't want to see him get a 3rd because I think he's too worried about Anderson (for what he did to his nose the first time - I wouldn't want to mess with someone who did that to me)
If Henderson wins, that would be a great fight. Then if Henderson wins that, give him another shot at Silva.
Henderson is a bit like 2 other wrestlers, Sherk and CB in that they all throw bombs that could end the night but miss 9 out of 10 times (with CB I am mainly talking about his first loss to Amir where he was missing on top constantly)

Didn't both the Noguieras sub him from the bottom?
They were both arm bars from the top; one with a keylock setup the other with a kimura setup.

Nice GIF's. I've never seen either fight, but I thought I remembered hearing some where that both were from the bottom.
In terms of Hendo v. Rich, as much as I'd like to see it I agree with those that say Hendo needs some wins first. I'd probably favor him against Rich, but he'd still be facing a top 5 (arguably top 2 or 3) middleweight with the chance of falling to 0-3 in the UFC looming over his head
