This should not be a main event. Bisping could be in the main event if he fought someone with a better name (Franklin, Hendo, Wandy). Leben should not be in teh main event!!!! Alothough he might win this fight, I so not see how an unranked fighter is headlining in the biggest MMA org. Maybe the UFC is actually starting to fall.

Alves and Sanchez is a great fight. If Alves could have made weight at the Hughes fight, he would be deserving of a title shot, w/out having to face the Nightmare. But since he couldn't, give him another shot to prove he can, and the winner gets a shot at GSP (I don't see any way that Fitch gets past Georges.) I will be pulling for Sanchez, but think Alves is poses the biggest threat for GSP.

Bisping is their Euro-poster boy. I don't disagree with your assessment, but that is the reason that he is headlining, IMO.

Hello! Free card! Yoo hoo!

Its an interesting fight, and then when we get a fight between two top 5 welterweights on the card as well does it really matter who fights last?

I think the PPV numbers take a hit when they have overseas events that are actually taking place in our afternoon, so probably makes sense. When they had the Bisping-Hamill on for free, a lot of people watched that. Strikeforce got a lot of recognition on TV and the UFC should do it once in a while.

I would not be upset with Leben/Bisping and Sanchez/Alves free card. IT looks like there will be another ppv a week or so later, I expect W. Silva to be fighting T. Silva on that card.

More info on the likelihood of this one being tape delayed for free. Junkie also has the possible Alves v. Sanchez info in the next entry down.

If it is free-GREAT. Do they list where the fight is going to be-Euro, US, Canada??? I can see Bisping headlining the fight if it is England and Yes the fight will be entertaining but I think that Sanchez and Alves should be the main event (both in the top 5).
FREE is always good though.
I don not know who i would pick between Alves and Sanchez yet, but i agree with the statement about Alves being GSPs greatest threat.

I like Bisping's chances a lot over the catsmasher. Thec ount is simpoly too skilled and polished for Leban at this point of their careers.

Alves vs Diego is a great match up. Lets go Dirty Sanchez
