    Default Anderson Silva's next opponent...

May be Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell.

Interesting. I assumed they'd have him fight Yushin before he did anything else, just give him a chance to avenge the loss like they tend to like to do.

I definitely won't say no to Chuck v. Spider though.

    James Irvin

I Like the Spider's chances a lot. I see the Brazilian picking him apart for a minute or two, before delivering the coup de grace.

Anderson would shred Liddell. I would rather see Liddell and Hendo square off in the octagon. This would be a better fight, but I think Chuck would end up getting beat down here as well.

Interesting. I think Liddell/Silva would be fireworks. Other than Rampage Jackson, no one's blown Chuck out.

Silva v Liddell would be a great stand-up match. It would be an interesting chess match to see how Silva would work inside to deliver those devastating knees vs Chuck's nasty counter-punching style. Agreed Adolf - fireworks.

I would have Chuck as a rock-solid favorite vs. Silva. Silva's stalking style would seem to fit very well with Chuck's counter-punching. I know Silva is a large 185 and probably weighs over 200 at the time of his fights, but Chuck is a plenty big 205 and is closer to 215-220 at the time of his fights. Of course, Andy would have more than a puncher's chance to win, as his arsenal is varied and lethal. Another pro for Andy is that he has historically raised his game vs. the toughest opponents. It's the scrubs that catch him slipping once in a while.

I think Liddell has a better chance of ending it with one strike and a better chance of winning a fight that (somehow) went to a decision, as the size difference comes into play.

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight at all, although a Silva loss wouldn't change my mind about his greatness.

anderson silva should fight nate laughran who is undefeated and just beat another undefeated guy to stay undefeated.or amir saddolah that guy can take a beatin i doubt silva could knock him out or submit him i see silva being submitted by amir if they fight those are the only worthy guys in his weight class which is a very weak weight class.and if you say anderson is unbeatible just throw him in there with any heavyweight fighter he would get destoyed just because any heavyweight would be to much for him,he could not knock a heavyweight out or submit 1 and a heavyweights hit would nearly kill the much smaller and weaker silva and there strength advantage would make it easy for a hw to submit silva.and thats to a weak heavyweight but what if he fought fedor emilenkle he would be out skilled because fedor is propley the only fighter out there that has better moves and is smarter at fighting then silva plus he would have a big strenth and weight advantage, fedor is better at strikeing, summiting, takeing hits avoideing submissions then silva and everything else.silva would stand no chance .fedor would win over anderson in 1 round.

I'm going to have to disagree with about every single thing you wrote, Chris. Except some of the Fedor comments.
