Mir, Noguiera get TUF 8 nods - MMA - Yahoo! Sports

I don't like it, this whole holding up title defenses for the show is getting a little played out.

I'd have liked to see something like Rich and Hendo as coaches, set up a bout between them.

Seems weak to me.
Mir gets a title shot after beating a Lesnar and the delay for any Hvy title fights shows that the reality show is more important than the actual fights.

Well, the UFC heavyweight division has been absolutely massacred, and they've apparently lost Arlovski who's apparently signed to fight Ben Rothwell on the Fedor v. Sylvia Affliction card.

Maybe the ONE positive of this is that the long break will maybe give someone the opportunity to emerge as a contender. However like I said in the first post I'd have still preferred to see Rich and Hendo coach, get Nog back in the octagon quicker against say the winner of Vera v. Werdum.

They let Arlovski's contract run out, and gave him the extra f*** you by putting his last fight on an undercard, and not letting him talk to the media afterwards. Anywho-Frank Mir is a bumbling idiot, and I generally want to punch him in the face when he is doing WEC color. I give this announcement a big yawn.
