Anyways, I agree 100%. The Torres fight back to back with Faber-Pulver was something that should have been seen in homes nationwide. So who is next for Faber? Personally, I would love to see the WEC get Kid Yamamoto to fight Urijah. I know that Kid was supposed to fight in Dream 4 in June but now he is no longer on the card. Maybe WEC can steal him...

Zuffa definitely showed that fat track suit wearing idiot Gary Shaw how to put on an MMA card. Ramps, smoke, and dancing whores can't replace great fights. Torres/Maeda and Faber/Pulver were great fights. Torres/Maeda is my new FOTY so far, I liked it better than Hellboy v. Alvarez. Both guys showed some great stand up, awesome exchanges on the feet. Then on the ground, Torres went for an awesome omoplata on the ground, and he looked for a nice triangle just missing the arm. Oh, and then THE DOUBLE TOE HOLD!!!! Awesome. Faber showed much improved boxing, and was able to use his movement and the respect that Jens obviously had for his takedowns to outbox Jens. He showed great kicks, and he continued to be absolutely relentless as always. Jens definitely lost every round, but he still had his moments through out the course of the fight. A lot of guys wouldn't have made it the whole time with the Faber of last night. |

The thing that impressed me so much about Torres is how he didn't stop working the entire match. If he was on bottom, he was still slapping ears, kicking, and just inflicting damage. He didn't take a single break during the entire fight.

I have to agree with everyone else that WEC put on a great card last night. I just started watching WEC and have become a big fan, especially of the lower weight classes. Its great that these fight were on for free.
