Mac Danzig def Mark Bocek via RNC Rd 3, 3:45.

1st Round: This was the closest round, Bocek got a TD and was on top for about a minute and half, or two minutes. I still think Danzig did enough to win the round as he went for a lighting quick triangle and an omoplata off his back, and struck really well from there. Then he eventually reversed his position and sprinkled in some nice GnP.

2nd Round: Danzig pretty much owned him in this one. He dropped him with a HUGE knee about 30 seconds into the round, and then just really went to work. Bocek did a nice job preventing Danzig from finishing him here. Danzig hit another pretty sweet knee from a whizzer position later in the the round too.

3rd Round: Bocek came out hard and got a TD early, Danzig went for a gogoplata but didn't get it. He eventually got back to his feet and busted Bocek open with another knee. They eventually wound up back on the ground late, and Danzig finished with the rear naked.

Kenny Florian is doing color tonight, Rogan is gone for some personal business. Danzig came out to "War Ensemble" by Jedi Mind Tricks which was pretty much awesome.

Michael Bisping def Charles McCarthy TKO 5:00 Rd 1, Ref Stoppage

Round 1: Bisping spent the first half or so of the round picking McCarthy apart with strikes, McCarthy would get hit and then try and taunt Bisping. McCarthy eventually ducked under a punch and took him down with a big double leg, and came close to securing an arm bar while they were on the ground. Bisping eventually came out the back and got back up to the feet. He finished things off with more strikes, what wound up doing McCarthy in was a barrage of knees to McCarthy that dropped him with about ten seconds left. Bisping pounded away until the round ended. McCarthy stayed down at the end of the round, and the ref stopped it.

Bisping looked very good at 185. It'll be interesting to see who they wind up having him fight next.

Nate Quarry def Kalib Starnes via UD

1st Round: Quarry spent basically the entire round chasing Starnes around the cage. Starnes didn't do a thing. Quarry sprinkled in some punches and leg kicks when he was able to get within range.

2nd Round: Starnes came out and fought for like ten seconds, then spent the whole round running away again. Quarry really spent the round punishing him with right leg kicks. The fans started to realize that this fight sucked so in the last half of the round "GSP" and "BORING" chants rang out.

3rd Round: More of the same from Starnes. Quarry spent the whole time chasing him and sprinkling in strikes again. Quarry hurt him with a big leg kick late, and as Starnes ran away again Quarry started to taunt him. Starnes flipped him the bird then ran away again, so Quarry taunted him again.

Rich Franklin def Travis Lutter via TKO due to strikes, Rd 2, 3:01

1st Round: Lutter came out tough here with an early takedown, they did some work on the ground. Lutter transitioned to mount and fully sunk an arm bar, but Rich did a fantastic job countering out with about a minute left in the round. Lutter basically completely gassed going for the arm bar.

2nd Round: Lutter was toast, Rich spent the round peppering him strikes and eventually put him down and pounded him out.

Georges St. Pierre def Matt Serra via TKO due to strikes, Rd 2 4:45

1st Round: St. Pierre came out and got the TD immediately. He spent the majority of the round on top. Serra did a nice job making things tough for him tying him up with his jiu jitsu. They wound up back on their feet during the last minute or so, but St. Pierre grabbed another TD with about :15 seconds left.

2nd Round: They came out and struck for a little bit, and then St. Pierre came and picked up another TD. He started working knees to the body on the ground, which I think is a ridiculously underused technique by a lot of guys. He did well alternating between the knees to the body, and some GnP before finishing the fight with a barage of the knees to the body causing Yves Lavigne to step in. Serra was wore out by the end.

Can we say total domination. I think this fight proves that the firs was a fluke. At no point was Serra even remotely in the fight. This was the first time I have seen a fight stopped due to knees to the ribs. GSP is the best fighter pound for pound in the worlds period when his head is right.

Lutter needs to get in better shape and I dont know finish a sure submission.

Quarry's taunt and the finger will go down in UFC history as some of the funniest shit ever.

If you saw the under cards you saw Ed Short Fuse Herman get short of breath when he was choked out.

Bisbing looked great against a terrible opponent but I think he should stay at 185.
