MMA or Little League? Ultimate fighting attracts kids
Missouri now allows children as young as 6 to participate in MMA. At first I thought it was stupid, but as long as they are correctly supervised and wear protective gear, it seems like any other youth sport. Thoughts? What age do kids start learning boxing, usually?

In my opinion six is way to young for almost any organized competitve sport, especially one involving striking and submissions.
I coached youth Judo for a few years and our official age limit was 8, but we would let kids as young as 6 joined. They really did not learn much, but they had fun wearing the uniform and rolling around on the mat.
