    Yeah, I agree, would have been a great fight. Some on Sherdog are speculating that they might try to get Vitor Belfort to replace Shogun. I wouldn't mind seeing Hendo and Chuck go at. Hendo needs a win bad right now and chuck needs a couple more quality wins to get a third crack at Rampage. It will be interesting to see what happens.

    Looks like Rashad Evans will be fighting Chuck Liddell. However, this is fortunate for Shogun, it would have sucked to start out 0-2 in the UFC, and Chuck was not an advantageous match up for him.

    I agree, I think Chuck would have taken care of Shogun much in the same way he took out Wanderlei.

    He should put it to Rashad.

    Worse, I think. Shogun doesn't hit as hard as Wandy, so there's less of a threat for Chuck.

    I think you guys haven't watched shogun enough, although shogun seems like a striker i think he much prefer to wrestle and do groundwork, i think Liddel is a bad match up for him.
    Which is a shame because Liddel is a very boring fighter.

    I think Evans would defeat Liddel.

    Awesome, seeing as how the standard argument was supposedly "Chuck only beats grapplers" he'd have taken out Shogun even easier than I thought he would.

    It seems odd to say this jensens, but i think as Shogun has done more MMA he has gone from traditional chuteboxer style to a lot more wrestling and grappling. I think Liddel is a bad match for him.

    I have always thought he is over rated.

    Shogun or Liddell (two 'l's)? Shogun sure seemed overrated when Forrest Griffin had a rear naked choke in on him.
