Anderson Silva: What in the World is Next?
He put another relatively dominant W on the board last night against Hendo, which I thought would be his biggest test yet in the UFC, so much for all that noise.
I figure a rematch with Okami is the next logical fight to make, but then...

Re: Anderson Silva: What in the World is Next?
Yeah pretty effen dominant!!!! Okami would be the logical choice, his nice win over Tanner plus the fact that he owns a "win" over Anderson would make it easy to hype up the fight.
There has been talk about Wanderlei dropping down to MW, maybe a fight with him? Other than that maybe he bumps to LHW, he said last night he would do that if the UFC/fans want.
He let himself down, for what...a woman. I say, go be a world champion let the women come to you......Tito Ortiz

Round of 12
Re: Anderson Silva: What in the World is Next?
I'd like to see Anderson vs. Okami again.
Hopefully it will go more than two rounds.
Anderson was way to much for Henderson last night.

So? Randy Couture is 44, and Silva is 32. Not exactly a spring chicken. Silva is just head and shoulders above every other fighter out there. He fights smart, and is flexible and strong, and has impeccable technique. I don't see anyone getting close to him barring injury.

The Washington Post writes that Silva is running out of opponents.

Hendo looked good the first round. Hendo needs to work on his thai clinch -- one knee to the cranium and he couldn't defend the choke. Silva's a beast. Okami will get schooled. In their last fight he looked lousy up until Silva was disqualified because Okami claimed he couldn't fight after the illegal up-kick to his head while he was kneeling (of course Okami went on to fight in the next round of that tournament...
).
I'd like to see a Jeremy Horn rematch. I'd also like to see Shogun drop to 185 lb. But most of all I'd like to see Anderson Silva challenge Rampage for the LHW title!!

That's true but he looks more like he's 30. Hendo might rematch in a year or two and win.
