    Default Dont Like UFC

Encorages hurting eachother. I am trying to make money wihtout going into UFC, cuz if I do good, kids will look up to me...for punching poeple and making then hurt for money and fame.

Wrestling is better, but needs to gain more exposure.

I would beat my kid if he told me he wanted to be UFC champ, you know.

Wreslting much better for society, UFC, stupid, but without exposure and money where else do wrestlers go?

    Coaching? Yeah fking right. Pennies

I would have to argue that you simply don't understand it then. First you are calling it UFC, and unless you are specifically talking about only hating that organization then I believe you are mistaken. The term is MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), and it is very similar to wrestling. It takes possibly more dedication and may be more physically demanding than wrestling as well. I believe you are just turned off by the striking, which is clearly one of MMA's selling points. I think currently the fan base is starting to understand the wrestling and Ju Jitzu asspect of it.
    Are you against boxing?
    Are you against Ju Jitzu?
Are you against other combat sports? (Yes, wrestling is a combat sport)

I love MMA and i believe that it is helping bring wrestling back. A lot of people out there and around the world watch MMA and there are a lot of wrestlers that compete in MMA. There were kids on my youngest brothers wrestling team that started wrestling because of MMA and now they love the sport.

I agree man, I always thought that MMA was going to bring more exposure to wrestling, and even possibly start seeing wrestling schools (like Ju Jitzu or Thai gyms). Maybe not specifically wrestling gyms, but you are seeing fight schools with wrestling classes. I coach a combat submission and wrestling class at a gym, and people are interested. (And I currently live in the South, so it was great to see that kind of interest, especially from wrestling high school in Ohio).

This is a joke right?? Because if it's not you should seek counseling, especially if you are a parent. How could the SPORT of MMA that teaches dedication and perseverance and has rules, referees, doctors, and an overall abundance of good sportsmanship be bad for society?

What I do know is bad is to "beat [your] kid if he said he wanted to be UFC champ"!! That kind of behavior serves only to fulfill a perverse tyrannical fantasy of yours and ultimately only spawns more violence.

Besides I think you'll have more luck finding a coaching gig than fighting for the UFC. Apparently you think it's easy to get signed to the now biggest MMA organization in the world...good luck with that!

If you love wrestling you will do it regardless of the payoff. Quit bitching.
