    BROCK LESNAR VS. FRANK MIR
Round 1 –Lesnar dips low and gets the early takedown and lands in sidemount. Lesnar starts raining down a series of short punches and hammerfists before the referee jumps into to stop it. It’s a foul, and Lesnar is deducted a point for hitting his opponent in the back of the head. They’re restarted in the center of the cage, and Lesnar drops Mir with a combination. Lesnar follows him to the mat and continues the hammerfists. Mir grabs an arm, but Lesnar breaks free. The frantic pace slows as Lesnar falls into Mir’s guard. Lesnar stands, but Mir grabs a leg, trips his opponent, and locks in a leg and cranks it. Lesnar is forced to tap. Frank Mir def. Brock Lesnar via submission (knee bar) — Round 1, 1:30.

Nog subs Tim with a guillotine in the third after getting the crap kicked out of him for two rounds.

Lesner showed his lack of experience getting trapped in that knee bar. I thought the stoppage due to the penalty was crap, there was no warning. I think he is going to be a good MMA fighter.

I completely agree. I can't wait to see more of Brock in the future. He needs to get a good jiujitsu partner so he won't fall into the same thing the next time, but I was impressed by his hands and his power. I'd like to see him against Sylvia, but I think he'd have trouble with guys that are good in bjj for now.

Nog is my hero. He took so many punches and there were so many times it looked like he was almost out, but hung in there and got the guillotine. I love that man right now! I would have puked if Sylvia had won.

Yes sir! it was about done with b4 the ref pulled that crap.
Holy...when he was just standing over him, I was like get the heck away and then Mir hooked the leg on the inside, pulled him down and it was over. Brock did almost kick out.

BTW, nice plug for Bismarck Jr. College-this is where he won his JUCO title. Then they come back and say he's a 4x AA from UMinnesota? They should have said 2x Bismarck State and 2x Minnesota.

He's going to be huge in the UFC world...just needs some time.

The UFC is pretty diligent about pulling any videos of their fights off the web.
