Default Aaron Simpson fighting in BoDog's Tuff N Uff

A few days ago, I was looking at the card for the Bodog fight taking place tonight and saw that an "Aaron Simpson" was fighting. I was wondering if it was the former ASU wrestler but then dismissed the idea since it's a popular name.

Then I was just looking at the photos from the weigh ins and it is in fact THE Aaron Simpson!

Seems like all these former ASU guys are popping up right and left on the MMA scene.

(PS if you MMA fans haven't checked out combatlifestyle.com, it has the best MMA photos out there. Tracy, the photographer, travels to nearly every major MMA event is the USA).

Yeah, Bader told me yesterday that he was up there with Aaron for a fight. I guess he got the fight on really short notice. We brought it pretty hard last Friday night.
"Now class, I'd like for you to transition from downward dog....straight to FULL BRING!!!"

I guess that 'bringing it' last weekend didn't really matter...

I'm really glad to see Aaron Simpson is doing well in MMA. I remember him as an 8th grader and he was a tough customer back then. His brother wasn't a bad wrestler himself (state champ as senior).

I was really happy to hear the storied ASU wrestling program was saved by a rash of last minute donations. Go ASU - '1994.
