Chuck v. Wanderlei: Great fight, Chuck coming out with the double legs and the spinning back fists. Some great exchanges, both guys had the other guy rocked a couple times. I had it 29-28 Chuck, but I could see how you could have given him the second round too. Chuck giving Sammie props at the end of his interview
St. Pierre v. Hughes: Matt said it pretty well in his post fight interview, St. Pierre is just the better guy. Hope we see Hughes back at least one more time to lay a beatdown on Serra.

Hell of a night of fights
Glad to see I was the only one backing Machida, the Dustin Schlatter of MMA.
I didn't think this was the Axe Murderer of old. He didn't look good and when he had Chuck rocked he didn't go for the kill. It was an entertaining fight but I was disappointed in the effort. Both guys gassed and it seemed to me Silva got scared when he saw his own blood.
Cant say much else about the Hughes fight. GSP did what I thought Hughes had to do to win. What a throw he had set up off of Hughes protecting against the knee pick.
Can anybody give me breakdown of the Hughes, GSP match. We were at a wrestling tournament until late. I did see on ufc.com George won by an arm bar and said that is arm popped? How did the first round go?
All I have to say is GSP WOW! This man has out wrestled some of the best collegiante wrestlers in the sport of MMA. He should take a break from MMA join the Canadian National team and add an Olympic gold medal to his resume WOW
